Return temperature control valves are excellent for regulating large heating systems. They ensure a uniform distribution of hot water throughout the system and prevent insufficient heating or overheating of heat exchangers exposed to the danger of short-circuiting.
The BW’s are directly controlled return temperature control valves which are installed in the return line. They maintain constant return temperatures within their proportional line.

The cooling-water control valves type CW are direct-acting proportional controllers for installation in cooling water or brine return lines. They ensure that the cooling-water outlet temperature is maintained at a preset value, calculated for the process requirements.
When using cooling-water control valves, higher temperatures are possible than with an uncontrolled process. As a result of the larger heat absorption by the cooling water or brine, cooling agent and energy consumption are reduced.
In particular, in new plants where the installation of cooling-water control valves has been planned right from the beginning, capital costs are reduced.

The conductivity sensing electrode LRG 16-40 consists of a TDS (= Total Dissolved Solids) monitoring electrode for conductivity measurement, a temperature sensor for detecting the fluid temperature and a fully integrated conductivity (TDS) transmitter
The probe works together with the LRR 1-40 controller.

The oil detector/alarm ORGS 11-2 works according to the conductivity measurement principle. The electronic control unit of the ORGS 11-2 is an integral module of its terminal case and controls all functions – external switchgear is therefore not required. A control and alarm unit should be added on downstream of the ORGS 11-2 in order to protect the installations to be cooled and prevent the possibility of oil leakage. The ORGS 11-2 has two channels for true fail-safe confidence

The continuous blowdown controller LRR 1-40 used in conjunction with the conductivity sensing electrode LRG 16-40 constitutes a conductivity (TDS) monitoring and control system. Electrical conductivity is used to measure boiler water TDS (= Total Dissolved Solids).

The equipment works with two electrodes according to the conductivity measurement principle and provides a conductivity-dependent measuring current of 4 %u2013 20 mA.

Steam Traps
We offer the complete line of steam trap products from Gestra. To be able to operate a plant over a long period with an optimum efficiency the choice of the correct valves is of vital importance. Amongst these valves are steam traps which have an important role to play. Steam must be trapped within heating equipment until it has surrendered all heat energy, at which point the condensate thereby formed must be immediately discharged.
