Description:
Remote Control RCEL Series Electric Actuators are engineered to provide efficient, high performance automation of quarter turn valves. The RCEL Series has improved reliability incorporating all the best features. The maximum torque output range is 521 inch lbs. to 21,700 inch lbs. The RCEL actuators are CSA C/US approved in 120VAC models. The RCEL actuators have a number of options. Description:
Remote Control offers a Failsafe Electric Actuator with our RCEL series. We can provide output torques up to 21,700 inch lbs. It will detect primary power failure and respond by positioning the valve into its safe mode. The RCEL Failsafe actuator can be configured to operate single phase 60Hz, 120 or 220VAC models. It can be used in on/off or modulating applications and be provided Nema 4, 4X or explosion proof. The RCEL Failsafe provides low cost protection, automatic position reset, automatically responds to power loss and can be used in remote locations.
New Electronic Failsafe Controller with many standard features:
- Timed or Instant Power Transfer Selection from normal power to UPS or from UPS back to normal power
- Actuator Power Status LED indicates whether the motor is receiving UPS or normal power
- Controller Power Indicator LED provides visual confirmation that power is present
- Remote Test Switch terminal block provides the ability to connect a PLC, Timer or Switch (customer supplied) to test the failsafe and battery whenever required
- Heater / Fan Terminal Block for optional Fan or Heater installation

The RCI DHC-100 digital high-resolution controller is for use in the RCEL and RCE series electric actuators. The DHC-100 is a high performance digital positioner intended for use is AC actuators. The DHC-100 can be used with our actuators operating from 2 to 90 second cycle times.
The DHC-100 controller can be configured for various command types (4-20mA, 1-5V, 0-5V, 0-10V, or a digital command) and its fail mode on loss of signal.
With it’s modular design a variety of options are easily plugged in providing other features. A wide range of data is accessible through a digital communications module providing additional control and information. The DHC-100 controller is field interchangable with our existing actuators and controllers.

Description:
The Failsafe Electro/Hydraulic Actuator consists of a single acting spring return actuator for fail safe operation, mounted electric motor, hydraulic pump and reservoir. The actuator is modified for hydraulic service which includes a bleeder to purge air from the system. The pump is driven by a totally enclosed fan cooled single phase motor. In the event of a power loss, the valve will automatically go to the fail position (counterclockwise or clockwise) by means of the springs in the actuator.

Description:
The Remote Control RCI 200 Series Pneumatic Actuator features a modern scotch yoke mechanism for high starting and ending torques in a very compact package. Available in both double acting and spring return in 8 sizes with torques to 38,720 in. lbs., it offers great flexibility. The spring return actuator features a spring module with the spring(s) safely contained and epoxy powder coated for maximum corrosion resistance. Our pistons are guided in two places with reinforced TeflonTM bearings which insure positive alignment and long seal life. All RCI 200 Series Actuators carry a 3-year warranty. The RCIO size has adjustable travel stops in both directions.

The M1 manual override is an option on the RCI and RCIO sizes 210 through 280 for both DA and SR actuators. Its is lightweight, low mass, simple yet rugged design. It eliminates the need for expensive sandwich type declutchable gear boxes and mounting and leaves the top shaft free for accessories. The M1 may be used as an adjustable stop in either direction at any position. The actuator may be locked in the open or closed position. The Remote Control RCI 265 Series are an addition to the 200 Series Pneumatic Actuators family. This model also fills the torque gap between the RCI 260 and RCI 270 sizes. It is available in both double acting and spring return, and incorporates all the standard features of the 200 Series. This includes the modern scotch yoke mechanism, compact size and spring modules with epoxy powder coated springs safely cointained plus the 3-year warranty. The pistons are guided in two places with reinforced Teflon bearings which ensure positive alignment and long seal life. An added feature the external adjustable limit stops allow plus or minus 5 degree adjustment in both open and closed positions. An external stop cam can be customized for different rotations.

For application on valves with rotary motion between 0 – 180 degree. The RCR pneumatic actuators consist of a housing in anodized aluminum and two pistons both with one rack. These racks are engaed in the gear which is formed by the middle part of the shaft. When compressed air through bored canals is led to the space between the pistons and each end plate, the air presses the pistons towards the center whereby the shaft is rotated 180 degree. When air is led between the two pistons and vents the outer chambers, the shaft will revert 180 degree.
